‘Spinning for Beginners’ is an excellent introduction to the exciting world of yarn spinning, suitable for absolute beginners. Using the top-whorl spindle, we will start slow and easy with a park and draft method, and you will progress at your own pace to more challenging spins and plying. You will leave the class with your first length of handspun yarn as well as knowledge how to choose fibres, tools and projects for your new crafty hobby. All the fibres and tools will be provided and there will be an opportunity to buy a drop spindle and additional fibres.
